A Family Company for Three Generations Since 1932

The great depression was upon our great nation. A young man, Charles M Konzelman Sr., had been in various sales jobs and was looking for work like many Americans at the time. Charles answered an ad for a sales position at Star Restaurant Supply in Paterson, NJ. The dealership was owned by two brothers.

After a short time at Star, the younger brother passed on and the business declined. The year was 1932, a determined Charles decided to strike out on his own. Economy Paper and Restaurant Supply Co. would make it's home at 409 Main Street Paterson, NJ and later grow to encompass several buildings on Main Street. In 1958 and 1965, respectively Charles Jr. and Lawrence joined the company. The business experienced strong growth and then moved to Clifton, NJ in 1969. The third generation brothers, Michael and Kevin joined the firm in 1987 and were later followed by their younger sister Susan.

We owe our success to our valued customers, hard working employees and our understanding families. Without their support we would not be able to deliver the high level of service needed in this ever changing industry.
